Early Life & Education
Dr. Rajya Lakshmi Edupuganti grew up in the small village of Mudinepally. She studied at Little Flower English Medium School, where she displayed exceptional dedication to academics from an early age. With the support of her family and teachers, she pursued her dreams with determination.
MBBS & Awards
She completed her Intermediate at Sri Chaitanya Junior College, Vijayawada, and pursued her MBBS at Meenakshi Medical College, Kanchipuram. During her MBBS, she earned 12 Gold Medals for academic excellence.
Entrance Exams & MS Surgery
She secured outstanding ranks in COMEDK (14), Tamil Nadu (10), APMC (10 & 41), CMC Vellore (3), and CMC Ludhiana (2 & 3). She later completed MS General Surgery at JJM Medical College, Davangere, receiving another Gold Medal.
NEET SS & Neurosurgery
Before completing MS, she achieved Rank 1 in NIMS and NTRUHS Andhra Pradesh in NEET SS and joined MCh Neurosurgery at IPGMER & Bangur Institute of Neurosciences, Kolkata.
Specialized Training & Languages
As the only woman in her Neurosurgery batch, she excelled through perseverance. She cleared DNB Neurosurgery in her first attempt, earned MRCS (UK), completed PGDM and PGDDM, trained in Neuroendoscopy and Pain Medicine, and is fluent in Telugu, English, Tamil, Kannada, Hindi, and more.
Career & Teaching
Beginning her Neurosurgery career at just 28 years of age, she actively mentors MCh aspirants and authored the book "Neurosurgery MCQs".
Current Practice
She currently serves at EVR Super Speciality Hospital, Gudivada, and consults at Kuchipudi, Vijayawada, and Machilipatnam, specializing in Brain, Spine, Peripheral Nerve Surgery, and Advanced Pain Management.

Dr. Rajya Lakshmi regularly participates in national and international conferences and has received prestigious YNF, YF, and YNN awards from 2022–2024 for her outstanding contributions to Neurosurgery and Medical Education.
